Paperbark Camp Restaurant at Fairgrounds

We’re super pleased to be returning to Fairgrounds festival again , bringing our beautiful long table restaurant to proudly provide delicious dining onsite in 2019.

The share plate dinner runs for just over an hour, with seatings Friday at 6.30pm and Saturday at 5.00pm and 6.30pm, timed to make sure you can enjoy sumptuous meals and sublime music. Our chefs have worked hard to create a menu using the best of the South Coast’s award-winning ingredients, and for both dinner and lunch we throw in a glass of premium NSW wine or local beer.

What’s heading to your plate this year?  Seasonal availability determines the freshest and best local ingredients, but think along these lines:  zatar flatbreads with home-made dips, dressings and salsas, fried soybeans, local olives, coconut chicken, warm salmon fillet, beetroots, hazelnuts, roasted cauliflower and tahini, freshest of tender veggies with almonds and orange vinaigrette and yellow rice with crispy shallots and coriander. Plus an individual sweet treat before you return to the musical smorgasbord of Fairgrounds.

Dining as a family? We understand kids love sampling grown-ups’ shared dishes and we ensure there is plenty for everyone to try. For all-round happiness, we also have a kids’ meal for children aged 12 or under.

Seats for children are limited – please book early! Alternatively, as a diner, you have priority booking status at Fairgrounds’ child minding, located just minutes stroll away on site and staffed by registered carers. For bookings, go to Fairgrounds child minding  or call our friendly qualified team on (02) 4422 8808 mentioning you’re having dinner with us.

For groups wanting to sit together, please note that we will require your entire group to be present before seating you as the long table configuration requires all seats to be filled from one end, it is very hard to save seats for those not present.

Kids (11 and under) - $30
