Experience

Do it all… or nothing at all. Explore Jervis Bay or enjoy a well earned chance to relax at the camp.

For many of our guests, a stay at Paperbark Camp is a well earned chance to sleep in, enjoy a long lazy breakfast on the verandah with the papers, perhaps a couple of hours on the beach with a good book before heading back for an afternoon snooze, and a candlelit dinner in the Gunyah.

For others, it is a base from which to get busy exploring the spectacular Jervis Bay area with its pristine beaches and award-winning national parks – a true playground for the outdoor enthusiast.

This is such a great experience and
definitely worth the 2.5 hour drive from
Sydney to Jervis Bay.

The property has some easy walking trails that meander through paperbark, gum and mangrove forests and are perfect for a stroll before breakfast (a great time for spotting kangaroos). Or grab your torch and walk the trails in the evening looking out for possums and other nocturnal residents.

Bikes are available for guests' enjoyment and are an eco-friendly way to explore the local area. The bayside town of Huskisson is only 15 min away by bike with a dedicated path along many picturesque white sand beaches. Or take a leisurely ride and taste locally brewed beers  at the nearby not one, but TWO award winning microbreweries!

Or take the Paperbark Challenge and canoe to Huskisson and back, stopping off for a picnic and a swim on the banks of the Currambene Creek – a great day out.

Relax with a massage on the deck of your tent with just the sounds of the bush to soothe, as bookings are limited and subject to availability we recommend requesting at time of booking confirmation.
