Discover the magic of Bundanon – Arthur and Yvonne Boyd’s gift to the nation.
While the beaches and national parks around Jervis Bay are wonderful ANY time of year, in Autumn & Winter there are so many other incredible places to explore in the Shoalhaven during these cooler months. One of our favourites is Bundanon, bequeathed to the nation in 1993 by Arthur and Yvonne Boyd to celebrate art and ideas and to promote the value of landscape in all our lives.
Located on the upper reaches of the Shoalhaven River west of Nowra, the dramatic surrounding landscapes provided inspiration for many of Arthur Boyd's most well known paintings.
Open every Sunday from 10.30am to 4.00pm, visitors can view artworks from the Collection in the original 19th century Bundanon Homestead and Arthur Boyd's Studio, wander through the English style gardens or enjoy a bushwalk on one of the walking tracks.
Entry is $10 (U16 years are free) and bookings are recommended, though you can purchase tickets on arrival... but be warned it's a bit of a drive out there to discover they are at capacity, best to jump online before departure just to be sure!
